I need to return an item - Which procedure do I follow?
Returns based on refurbished motors

Refurbished motors are motors that have been repaired, refurbished, and fully tested by Technics & Applications. 
They are supplied with a 3-year warranty. 
The prices for refurbished motors as stated in the price list apply only if the returned defective motor meets all of the following conditions: 
  • The defective motor must be returned to Technics & Applications within 30 working days after shipment of the refurbished motor.
  • The motor must have a maximum age of 10 years.
  • The cable must have a minimum length of 1 meter, allowing proper testing.
  • The motor must be in good condition. Motors showing corrosion or visible/external damage are not eligible for refurbishment. 
  • The return must be accompanied by an INC number (to be requested in advance via service@aquatop.be). 
Invoicing and returns 
When ordering a refurbished motor, the price of a new motor will be invoiced (payment term: 30 days). 
After receipt and inspection of the defective motor, a credit note for the price difference will be issued, provided all conditions are met.
  • All returns are at the customer’s expense.
  • Returned motors can never be reclaimed.
Returning parts under warranty

Defective parts returned under warranty must meet the following conditions:
  • After receiving the replacement part, the defective item must be sent back within 30 working days.
  • Defective parts can only be returned after written confirmation of the service department. The return must always be accompanied by an INC number (to be requested in advance via service@aquatop.be).
  • Parts must be packaged appropriately to prevent transport damage. 
Parts that are found not to be defective will be returned to the customer at his expense. Costs for checking the parts may be charged. 
In the event of replacement, the price of the new part will be invoiced (payment term: 30 days). 
After receipt and approval of the defective part, a full credit note will be issued if all conditions are met. 
  • All returns are at the customer’s expense. 
  • Returned motors can never be reclaimed. 
Returning unused parts

Unused parts returned due to incorrect ordering or delivery must meet the following conditions:
  • Parts must be returned within 30 working days of receipt.
  • The return must be accompanied by an INC number (to be requested in advance via service@aquatop.be).
  • In the case of sets, the sets must be returned complete. Individual components of a set cannot be returned.
  • Parts must show no corrosion, or visible/external damage.
  • Custom-made items cannot be returned.

Credits and fees 
  • In the event of an incorrect delivery by Technics & Applications, the full amount of the item will be credited.
  • In the event of an incorrect order by the customer or the return of unused stock items, a restocking fee of 15% will be charged, with a minimum of €50.
All returns are at the customer’s expense.
