Pit behind the pool

The roller mechanism is placed in a cover pit behind the pool. Check our manual for the dimensions of this pit. We recommend a main drain + inlet so you’re be able to clean the pit. The pit can be covered with wood in combination with a SS or aluminum beam. The motor can be external electric, hydraulic or an in-roller motor.

It’s recommended to put the skimmers behind the cover in the pit. If you order “slat for skimmers”, you’re able to create some openings for an optimal flow even in closed position of the cover. In combination with the aluminum beam our automatic Cover Wash system can be installed.

Mount in the wall

The roller mechanism is built into a concrete pit in the pool wall. A panel out of PVC or fiberglass can be used to hide the cover. Check our installation manual for the correct pit dimensions. This way of integrating your cover can be used on both skimmer an overflow pools. Rollers are installed in the cover pit to guide the slats while opening / closing the cover. The motor can be external electric, hydraulic or an in-roller motor.

If skimmers are placed at the roller mechanism side, the skimmer flange has to be flush with the pool wall. This solution is not suited for prefab liner pools. You need 90° corners and the walls are made out of concrete or brick.

In the stairs

The roller mechanism is installed in a pit under the first step of the stairs. The pit is covered with a stone resting on the wall and our SS beam with guides for the slats. Other finishing on request.

Also avoid other obstacles like Jet stream or lamps who can impede the free movement of the cover.

In the pool floor

The roller mechanism is installed in a pit in the pool floor and can be covered with a panel of composite or PVC. A round tube makes a good conduction of the slats. An extra L-profile supports the panel. The motor can be external electric, hydraulic or an in-roller motor.

On the pool floor

The roller mechanism is installed at the pool floor and can be covered with a fiberglass bench. Maximum pool dimensions for having the bench: 14x6m. The motor can be external electric, hydraulic or an in-roller motor.
